WHO WE ARE
HSU Audiobook Archives is a small group of dedicated students in a graduate level digital humanities class, and volunteers who are learning about audio production, public domain, special collections and archives. We are passionate offering audio to the public free of charge, and we would love you to join us.
We are non funded and not for profit. We work with a free Weebly platform and most of our audio is housed at Soundcloud under a free account. We like "FREE" around here.
If you want to volunteer, you don't have to be affiliated with Humboldt State University. You can just be excited about recording yourself reading a book. You can even do it from home if you are set up correctly with a microphone and an appropriate reading selection. Feel "free" to make your own Soundcloud account to house your "free" audio before placing them on the Audio Archives Page.
Digital Coordinator:
Sarah Godlin
Volunteer Readers:
Carter Solomon
